Depending on the rich experiences of lighting engineering in the field of sports venues and innovative lighting technologies, HES Group recently won the bid of the flood lighting contract project of Donganhu Sports Park in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province which is the main site of the 31th FISU Summer World University Games with a production value of RMB 450 million.
2021 Chengdu World University Games is the third time that China mainland has ever hosted World University Games, and it is also the first for the western area of China to host international games.
Chengdu Donganhu Sports park is another wonderful sports venue lighting project completed by HES Group after we successfully delivered the lighting project of Beijing Olympic Sports Center, Zhengzhou Olympic Sports Center, Wuhan Sports Center and Xi’an Olympic Center.
The grade-A stadium with 40 thousand seats of Chengdu Donganhu Sports Park is the site for opening and closing ceremonies; the grade-A multifunctional gymnasium with 18 thousand seats is the venue for gymnastics competition; the grade-A swimming venue with 4,500 seats is for swimming competitions; Small ball Venue is the training site for gymnastics athletes.
The opening ceremony will be held at night. By then, the lighting will bring the stadium special glamour! Our lighting design has three modes of grand event, normal style and festival style. Grand event mode imitates shooting stars to create a dynamic scene with a sense of science fiction; Normal style mode uses diffused lighting to inject vitality to the building; festival mode can change colors according to the characteristics of the festival. In this world-class stadium, “sunbird” pattern is on the ceiling of the roof. In the daytime, it brings the interior venue an atmosphere of profound culture and history. At night, the lighting effect will bring the spectators a sense of future.
Because of the tight schedule and heavy workload, HES Group actively responds to the requirement of property owners, takes orders from the main contractor and cooperates with other construction partners to build a high-quality project.
